Your mala necklace is made with genuine, high-quality 8mm beads. An 81-bead mala measures 30″ around, and a 108-bead mala measures 40″. Measurements are approximate because bead sizes vary slightly. The cotton tassel measures approximately 3 inches, or request a pendant.
Your 108-bead mala can be wrapped around most wrists five times, and your 81-bead mala can be wrapped around most wrists four times.
ADD-ON WRIST MALA
This 7-inch beaded bracelet will include a small guru bead and tassel. These beads will match your full mala. Keeps the energy of your gemstones near when not wearing your full mala. It makes a beautiful gift!
ADD-ON POCKET MALA
This includes 27 beads with knots, a guru bead, and a tassel. It allows you to carry your beads with you at all times, in your pocket or purse, under your pillow, in your car, wherever & whenever you want them. Doing a quick & easy 27 mantras or counting beads is a great way to introduce mala use into your daily life & stay mindful. It also makes a perfect gift!

6MM BEAD MALAS
Made with genuine, high-quality 6mm beads and measuring approximately 30–34″ around.
Because of their smaller beads and overall length, 6mm malas typically do not wrap around the wrist as mala wraps, although they may fit smaller wrists.
Measurements are approximate because natural bead sizes can vary slightly.

Malaology is proudly 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We use no pearls, shells, bone, coral, or silk.
Our malas are finished with cotton tassels and durable nylon knotting cord. Unlike silk, nylon does not rot, stretch, or fray easily, making it a practical choice for a mala that is handled, worn, and used in daily practice.

Your order ships from Michigan, and you'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your mala is on its way.
Individual malas ship FREE via USPS Ground.
When you purchase two or more malas together, we upgrade your shipment to USPS Priority Mail at no additional charge.
If you'd like to change or upgrade your shipping method, please contact us at namaste@malaology.com within 12 hours of placing your order.
WHEN WILL YOUR MALA SHIP?
We make and ship all non-custom malas within three business days.
During especially busy times, such as the holiday season, our timeline may occasionally be extended. If we can't meet that commitment for any reason, we'll email you with an update.
THOUGHTFULLY PACKAGED 🎁
Every item is lovingly wrapped in tissue paper, securely boxed, and shipped in a recyclable padded mailer without unnecessary plastic.
Ordering more than one item? We individually wrap and label each box so you'll know which mala is which before opening them — making gift-giving easy.
